HELP! tranny woes. I want to go on a rampage

Haha yeah.. grabbed my filler tube o ring and got that squared away. drove up onto a concrete divider they had down the street to raise the passenger side so i didnt have to drain and fluid for when i popped the tube out. Im so glad to not have anymore drips.
And truck runs great! did HEI swap right before i pulled tranny so never got a chance to drive it.

Man, I never get that kind of luck. Be sure that you examine the lines where they were rubbing. A hard nick or a worn place could be the start of a leak a few miles down the road.
If you have my kind of luck, it won't be a total break, just a slow drip that will let you burn up the tranny before you realize its low of fluid.
Also, if the lines are steel, and have a corrosion coating on the outside, you might want to put a little paint or a gob of grease on the shiny place to stop any rust.
