I have seen those ring type NP205 transfer case ones that mount to the main shaft cover plate. Those could cause an issue if the engine twists, but the transfer case does not. I use the factory transfer case support bar that mounts in factory position on the side of an NP205, and then bolts to the bell housing. The factory support bracket allows the engine and transfer case to stay in alignment with each other even when there is any twisting. I also have the factory engine to torque converter inspection cover support brackets as well.Mounting the back of the Tcase some how may actually add to cracking the trans case.
