upload them to photobucket and post.

Or just post a bunch of replies.

probably cuz they are attachments, as opposed to photobucket hosted and such...

wasn't the rig sitting way lower than you expected?

and now, for todays grand entertainment.....

well this is stupid...i tried uploading the photos from my iphone and it wouldnt work and now im on my ipad and its only allowing me to post one pic on each reply...any help?

At least the drive shaft angle looks good:thumb:

dang it, i never used photobucket...
yep....but i was just going to mount the springs lower on the shackles to lift it up a bit.

haha yep. made sure not to mess with the pinion angle and open up a big can of worms.

So whats the plan now? Flip it back around and weld perchase on the bottom? Really you dont even need to screw with cutting the old perch off if you use regular U bolts and ditch those pad things.

do you mean once i flip it around and do a spring under?

If you wanna do the spring under still. You really wouldnt even need to cut the old off. Just weld new ones underneath. Idk if you could use those square u bolts etc though.

Or just put the axle on the bottom and be done with it.

Yeah I still have the stock round ones that I removed. But the perches ontop would interfere with the U bolt clamp on top if I didn't cut them off .

I'm confused here.. just take the axle out.. flip it around and put it under the leaf like normal.. use rounded u-bolts and upper spring plates... that rig is sitting stoopid low, if you install it correctly, it will sit good...

Regular u bolts dont use that goofy dimpled plate thing you have. They just go around the axle and you use spring plates.

I assumed there was reasoning for going spring under in the first place.

That's funny. The fact your owning up to it is even more awesome.

Once some years ago we were ready to start tearing a brand new motor out of a car. Buddies dad came out and mentioned we might should hook the battery cables up.

We were also dead tired

Haha. That's awesome.

4wd burnout and not move anywhere would be pretty cool
In most John Deere tractors you can set the ring gear carrier in either way. It will drop right in. A kid at the local John Deere dealer I use to work at, accidentally installed the carrier in an articulated 4wd drive tractor backwards one time. No one noticed (he was a college kid at the time on his coop quarter), and he put it all back together. When he started the tractor and put it in gear it would just kill the engine. They finally figured it out, because when they would start to let the clutch out, the tractor would either try to pull apart, or squeeze together.

So not only is it up side down but its is on top of the springs

You know it mounts under the springs ?

Yes I know you can mount it under the springs but I'm building it into a mild prerunner so I was gonna do SUA drop shackle flip and run shocks through the floor and mount them to the cage.
