I always though it was patina. But then I am planning on restoring it to mostly original condition. Although I am sure that Craig will pick apart everything that isn't correct.
Not really. If you look at that dash up close, that gauge bezel will have woodgrain on the top 2/3 and be a different casting altogether. The dash plate, although similar, will have the dark walnut woodgrain, not the lighter "teakwood" style that was used in '77. That picture is so small it's hard to tell. Chevy/GMC used 3 different styles of woodgrain from '73-'77. For '73-'74 they used a dark walnut, for '75-'76 they used a burlwood, and for '77 only they used a lighter teakwood. They got rid of woodgrain in '78 and it didn't show back up in the trucks until some time in the '80s.4WheelCowboy said:dash looks like the book ones don't it?![]()
