im at a crossroad guys need a lil help.....

well i had a deal goin to trade the 87 for a 2007 grizzly 700 but then the guy back out....

if i sell the truck without the motor im asking 1500 for the truck only becuase thats what i have in parts, comes with dana 44 front, 8 lug 10bolt , and a 14 bolt

but on the other hand i can keep it and finish converting it to a 3/4 ton and drive it

so wat should i do i have the m1008 and a k30 dually should i keep the truck or sell it to fund the m1008?

Problem with the electric water pumps is that they don't move nearly as much water as the mechanical. Not much of an issue at idle, different story when the engine is under a high load/low speed condition.

No reason not to try it, you've got it. I wouldn't worry about the alternator except that at lower engine speeds power output sucks, which starts to affect everything else on the system, which would slow down an electric pump. You'll just want to keep an eye on the voltage and coolant temps.

No reason to take this off on a tangent regarding theory though, run it, and tell us how it works in reality! :)

Got some good news bout six months ago i got a new job working at a junk yard making alot more money with the benifit of first dibs on parts......:D

with this in mind ima try and build this truck on some junkyard parts and the cheapest that i possible can .... so since ive sold the 87 v10 alot of the parts that i had left are goin to be used

couple weeks ago a guy brought some h1 8 bolt beadlocks and tires to work and bought them for 300 , mounted them up and the actually looked pretty good

its ganna be a lil bit of all, i no not to get the boggers if its ganna be on the street all the time.... but i just like a bogger

and i mean im looking at prices and there somewhat close and i know the km2 will last longer but a bogger is just a bogger a bad a** tire period

I km2 will last longer but it sounds like you really want that bogger lol so go for it.

im really liking the km2 tho i want a good all around tire but if i get the km2 ill dd drive on them ,trail ride ,and pull people out especialy my buddys f250 on 44 boggers

If you're gonna DD them at all, I would say go with the KM2's (I am biased tho, check the sig:deal:). I've seen the 40's and 42's perform awesome on the Ultimate Adventure, which mixes lots of street driving with varied offroad terrain. The ride and low noise level on these tires is amazing considering the size of the tread blocks/voids. My $.02:D

You could call offroad design and see if they like goodyear mtr's or km2's better.

I would get 43 sx swampers though
