Ah, I hadn't thought about the tire being stuck case. Would it still help in the wheel spin up case I described though?
I run in 3WD (1 hub unlocked) on the road when it's snowy or icey out, and have no problems there either. As for turning around, and turning the wheel
I'm not sure what problems others are facing, but I have none, it turns just fine for me

Deep snow you can't beat it.
On the trail I keep it in 2wdr until I hit an obsticle I know I can't make with out 4wdr. After the obsticle I go right back to 2wdr.
