how do i pull my th400

Where are you about? I have a killer tranny jack that i have and could possible help you if your near gilroy. Although 125 miles north of slo is Salinas. I take it your inbetween Salinas and Gilroy? Pm me if your in need of help.

If it's under warranty how far is the place from where you are?

If it's along ways i'd just ship it or something. No need in paying more for a tranny then you have to.

WOW!! scratch that idea then. No idea on how much it'd cost so it might BE cheaper to get ir rebuilt there...??

some tranny shope 9if you went to a big one) have nationwide warranties...

unfortunately that is not the case, but it is a friends shop and they built it and installed it for me for the cost of parts

soooo im not exactly sure what i am going to do, the shipping would be in the $250-300 range, then i still have to install it myself.

They built & installed it for the cost of parts? How much of a warranty do you expect:confused:

I'm going to guess shipping will cost more than having it repaired locally. That is if you pull & re-install it yourself.

Sorry to see your predicament. Ill be driving my burb down to San Jose, as far as Hollister even and will be returning within about a month. Not sure of exact dates yet, but should be in the next couple of weeks. I will be making a return trip to the bay area soon afterwards. Your time frame is probably tighter than that, but, if I can possibly help you, let me know.

heeey sorry i never got out to your place in puyallup to see your rig and help out, i ended up working alot more hours over break than i thought i would need to,
my time frame is limitless at this point. i would just like to get the thing back on its feet eventually and for the least amount of cash possible.

if we could work it out, that is if it would not inconvenience you to lug my 170lb trans back and forth, i would be greatly appreciative of your time.

the shop that would be doing the work is on Main St. downtown puyallup across from Taco Time, Rayman Northwest Transmissions. GOOD PEOPLE down there, i recommend them if you need any trans/transfercase work done

shoot me a PM if you think it may work out

O.K. , I will shoot you a p.m. this afternoon. If I can help, I will. After all the help ive received here its the least I can do to to return the support ive been given.
As for being "busy" I completely understand. There will be other opportunities to "talk truck".
Hang in there, your truck will live again:D.
