how long have you had your K5?

Bought my '90 in 1994 with 49k on the clock and all stock except for some 32" mud radials and daily drove it through college. It was a very clean and nice looking mall crawler during that time eventually getting a 4" lift on the existing 32" tires. Around '97 it was stolen, mud bogged until the rear end blew out, and then stripped. Think insurance put about $10k in putting it back together. Took the money they gave me for the chrome grill guard, nerf bars, and combined it with what they paid for rear axle repairs and had it regeared to 4.10 with limited slips and put it on 33's (hardcore for the day!). After college bought another truck so the K5 was a weekend toy. Started taking it off-road right around 2000 and while I sometimes miss how nice it looked it is a lot more fun now. It's been through several iterations:

33's, 4" lift, 10-bolts w/ 4.10's and limited slips
switched to 35's
Did a 3/4 ton swap with a welded 14FF and swapped to the front 10-bolt to 8-lug
Front D60 with a Lock-right and 13/38-16 TSL's
Home-built bumpers, roll cage, raised rockers, lots of dents, etc....during this time
Switched to 39.5x15 TSL's on 15x8 reverse backspace wheels (poor man's beadlock)
new rear quarters that are dovesided, new front fenders......not a show truck but got tires of crushed aluminum can look......
Currently sitting on 42" TSL's on 15" beadlocks but it's only been wheeled a few times in the last couple of years......moved, kids are old enough to be involved in sports, and bought a SxS..........
