How many SM465 rigs have you owned?

even after 6 knee surgeries, I don't mind the clutching so much as the archaic dump truck gear spread... Mutt is basically a 2 speed.. if I'm even slightly rolling, I'm starting in second, running in 3rd..

stoopid reliable and stout, just not the most efficient and fun setup...

i'll be mucho happy to run the 5 spd behind the Cummins when I get around to that swap... actually when that time comes, I may jump over the 5spd and see about doing the G65....
 
Just one, 86 K-10 4x4, 465, 208, 4.3 liter. The truck was so gutless I got passed going up hills by birds
 
I've looked into to those. Only real bummer on those is losing the granny low. If it was just a DD K5 or similar I think that'd be the way to go. Still super hard to find either NV around these parts...
 
I currently own the "anti 465" in my DD. 5 gears, no overdrive...gotta say it's way too much fun.

Just (2)1979 k30s & a 1982 k30. I do have 3 extras in the shed.
 
2 but 1 was a parts truck..
i did a auto to stick conversion in 1993 when the forum wasnt around and once done never looked back...
heck i have owned the truck since 1989 (but in the fs section now)....

parts truck was to go hydro clutch setup... why buy a parts truck u say? cuz it was driven to my yard... and I only paid $100!!!! :woot: 1986 gmc fullsize jimmy..
i took the trans, all hydro stuff and steering column....
