How much did you spend

You guys that spent under a grand are lucky! No only because that means you live somewhat close, but that's not that bad.


I need to put about 6 grand into the Burb and then I need $2500 for the trip to BB12. My wife is going to be pissed! Ha Ha!


And she should be 6-9 months into pregnancy! Great!
I think I need to shoot on the outstroke, not the instroke. Maybe I can delay the pregnancy for a few extra months!
 
Something on my phone racked up 1gb of data use while I was in the states at $1 / MB. I am not entirely sure what would have been using that much data down there... I typically use around 800 MB a month up here, and was using my phone in a very limited fashion in the US. I was expecting a 3 - 400 bill, but 1400 blew my mind!

Would of been cheaper to buy a phone down here and use it :eek1::eek1:
 
The problem is he's got a Canadian plan. When he came to the US it was international roaming charges. If you were to go down to mexico and download a gig of data on your phone you would probably get a similar bill.

The US companies allow him to roam on their network, but bill the Canadian company at a very high rate, the Canadian company then marks that up a bit and charges him.
 
You don't even have to go to Mexico, just live in El Paso and drive down I10.
Next time I'd do like every one suggested, shut off your phone and buy a trac-phone.
 
Needless to say I learned a lesson! Next year I'll just buy a SIM card down there to pop into my phone and use it as a pay as you go type deal.

I am in negotioations with my cell carrier to get the charges reduced. I'm up to Tier 2 of 3, gotta work through two more levels of management yet to get to someone who can authorize 1k or more in reductions.

My hope is to get the 1 knocked off the front of the bill...

Glad you got it reduced. Same thing happened to me 11 years ago and Verizon helped me out.
 
She had to be imported from elsewhere and they charged the foreign tourist rate. They also charged extra for being hearing impaired because he kept saying "EH":popcorn:

Now that you mention the import thing I think I got it figured out.

The young lady that we all thought was a mail order bride for that random guy on Golden Spike was really Russells' mail order bride getting delivered to him.

He jumped right on that and nobody thought it was strange. Nice play Russell with the whole comfortable vehicle for the ride to town. I bet she got a ride.:pimp: Eh hoser:whistle:
