That's just it. Any driveshaft company is sourcing more or less the same parts as the other guy. They don't make most of the stuff they put on the ends of the driveshaft, that's where the money is.
So nobody knows what the deal is with hooking to the NP208 front flange?
I'm just trying to understand why HAD is acting like 1310 CV can't hook to my flange. I need a new shaft to get the extra slip and to survive 30 degree angles. 1310 can do that.
Yeah it states most failure is caused by high rpm. I'd run it if it was cheap though.
I really question anyone who needs to go over 30 mph in 4wd though. Maybe plowing a fresh snow trail but it's not going to gain you much plus it's only short spurts.

Sorry i wasn't clear. Mine doesn't have a double cardigan. I missed that you were looking for that. I decided against to see how i liked it.
The 1310 is shorter than a 1350. Depending in your angle it may not be long enough to clear your crossmember without massaging. I know mine rubbed pretty good after my lift.
I have 3R on there now. I was assuming that's comparable to 1310, but I found this:
SERIES. CAP DIA. WIDTH (Lock-up Dimension)
1210 1.0625″ 2.435″
1310* 1.0625″ 3.218″
1330 1.0625″ 3.625″
1350* 1.188″ 3.625″
1410 1.188″ 4.188″
1480 1.375″ 4.188″
7260 (Detroit) 1.078″ 2.125″
7290 (Detroit) 1.125″ 2.625″
3R (Saginaw) 1.125″ 2.5625″
So, 3R is WAY smaller than anything else. Does everyone running custom shafts have custom crossmembers, or what? The 3R barely clears as it is.
