I started with a $100 90K5 4 years ago. It was a very decent truck for $100 too. It just didn't run right and I was told it needed an engine. What it wound up being was the plug wires were bad and 2 of them were reversed on the cap. I had about $300 in it when it hit the trails for the first time.
I now have over $15,000 in it to do this. I would hate to even think about what it would cost if I had to pay labor charges too. All in all I have no real complaint and it keeps me out of trouble.

Like someone said earlier, don't forget nuts and bolts, welding wire, Argon, sawzal blades grinding wheels and tools you might not have bought if it weren't for your truck.
