Fellow ck5er wants the front wiring harness intact off my 88. Having some trouble pulling this off the junction block. Can anyone give this dummy a little step by step direction here so i dont screw up the most important part of this harness. The connection farthest to the right in the picture is what im trying to pull undamaged.

fyi 88-up to 91 went diffrent shape plugs than old 73-87 style.

and 1 bolt in center and pull wiggle and pry it out as its sealed with vary sticky stuff.

then it just unclips from its self in to 3 sections. front clip / engine bay / rear wires to lights and such.

My harness looks different and it's an 88 also, maybe because its a suburban, still one bolt in the middle, and two bolts holding the fuse block to the fire wall

i think its cause he is working on a 88-up truck . look at the inner fender tab in white. its a 88-up truck for sure. the firewall pic posted looks like a 88-up style not our 73-87-91

the 88 blazer/burban/crew cab still had reg lights. then 89-91 thay had option of quad lights like the 88-up. thats when thay switched if i was a betting man.

:doah:

Makes sense now, I almost forgot the 88 trucks were the newer body style
