How to keep 42's out of the firewall?

I also forgot that lowering my bumps keeps the springs from inverting. Now when my overload is flat, the main leaf is flat and the bump is hitting, it SHOULD help keep my springs in good shape and prevent the main leaf from snapping since I hear that is a common issue on 52's.

alot of people spot weld it in place. but if you cant or dont want to weld it i say rivets are a better choice. sheetmetal screws are going to either poking out at the tire or up at your feet

Yep, but they're super soft so a full bodied rig would probably need leaves added to the pack.

so they are softer than chevy 52's? if you use the dodge 52's do you still net ~4" lift with stock springs? im lookin into lifted 52's so if they would net the same lift that would be awesome

The packs I got had 4 leafs in 'em...I'm sure you could find packs with more leaves in them.

I have no idea how much lift you net and really have no way of finding out.

whats the center pin offset? this is something ill have to consider

It's 2" more than the offset of chevy 52's. They're easily recognizable because one of the bolt eyes is reversed.

but they are the same 2.5" and everything else right, so they will bolt right in after i move the front hanger?

AFAIK, yes. I'd love to help you more but my application isn't exactly typical.

:haha: i know. i was checkin lifted springs, and the spring rate is alot higher than the lifted chevy 52's, so i think im going to stick with chevy's for now
