Diesel, since Dodge is no longer offering the manual I’m more open to a 6.7 Powerstroke .

What's the cost difference up there? Around here the Ford is like 10 grand more for comparable trucks.
Pretty close to the same , I can actually get the ford a little cheaper with a discount through work
You can thank a handful of morons for the TPMS and not being able to adjust the target pressures. Not sure what I'm going to do when I finally break down and buy another truck. My '03 came factory with the 80 psi E-rated tires and I ran the rears at 45-50 psi when not loaded for a better ride, but was also smart enough to pump them back up to 80 when hauling a trailer. The replacement tires are D-rated with a maximum of 65 psi.....don't run heavy enough to require the 80 psi tires.
I will say that back-up cameras are nice, especially with a big ol' pickup truck. Backing up to hook up to a trailer is really nice on some of these models also. Absolutely no guessing or getting in and out of the truck to see if you are lined up.

If you do the pressure pipe method it has to move the sensor goes to sleep when stationary, hang it under the body by a chain so it swings a little.

You can put the sensors in the spare.
You used to be able to do that , but the new ones are smarter , they have accelerometers built in so they can tell if the tire is not rotating.
There's still a pile of '18 Rams with the stick brand new on eBay. Some large dealers out there look like they stocked up on them since they're a dying bread. You might have to travel a good ways to get one though...
Also no aftermarket programs can change anything with the BCM or any secondary system. Only ECM or TCM.
FYI regarding the comment that back-up cameras are optional. Per the federal law only vehicles below 10,000 GVW are required to have them. However I was looking at the Chevrolet website and it clearly states that back-up cameras are standard equipment on the 3500HD trucks. Even went through the whole "build & price" series and picked the dual rear wheel version and all of the most basic trim levels and in the end it comes up under "standard equipment".
Cause and response are often not linked on stuff like that.
