How to remove trim, molding, and glass on a Suburban? Prepping for paint.

I hear that! Even if its some cool color. If the factory never put it on there it doesnt looks good! On the flip side, Both of ryoken's rides look good.

That looks great! Love the color, my dad had one two tone with that color when I was a kid. So what was the final damage on the body work and paint? Trying to decide if I'm going to just raptor liner the whoe exterior of mine or try and get a decent paint job done. Sorry to distract. . . Chop, chop, get that thing back together and get us some more pictures!

It was $1550 for everyting. Before i can re-assemble, i need to place several orders for new parts... :doah:

I figured you would have the back windows roped in at least by now. Thats the easiest thing to put back on. Small rope in groove then spray the gasket with WD 40 to lube then pull the rope in to flip the gasket in.

Well, i need a new barn door window, a new rear quarter window, all the window channels and felts, and a new windshield. So it will be a slow go of things.

Good news, I thought I needed a new rear quarter glass cause my dad put an antenna through it when truck phones were first coming out. I thought he had to drill a hole in the glass for it. Turns out its just a stick on thing! So that's one thing I don't need to buy...

I give the video two thumbs up....although there is blatant plaigurism of J.J. Abrams overuse of lens flares which he stole from Spielberg...ie...the scene where Hooper and Brody are cruising up on Ben Gardener's boat in the fog....the use of lens flare in that scene is what got JJ Abrams started using it...he is obsessed with it...
:haha:

how many times a day do you look out the window at it?

Chief you crack me up man. How often do i look out the window at it. Never! Its in the garage and you cant see in it from the house. Add to that that i got it back yesterday before work and also have to work today, equals me not having much time with it so far. Next week i'll start putting stuff together.

Thanks me too!

Put the first of the glass in today!
