The more I keep looking at your pictures the more that color is really growing on me. Man, that paint looks nice for a Maaco job.
I remember when I was in high school in the early 90’s my dad owned a shop where we had several commercial account customers. One of our customers was GE Fleet Services (leased vehicles to Sante Fe Railroad). I remember they used to bring in a pair of ’89-’91 Suburbans into our shop for maintenance. One was tan and the other was the same color as yours. Both were plain Jane Subs with TBI 350s, SM465 transmissions, rubber floor mats, vinyl bench seats, non-tinted glass but had quad headlights with chrome grills. I always drooled over them! It was odd they were not painted the typical Sante Fe Railroad white with decals. These subs where plain with no logos. I would love to have either one of those Burbs today in the condition they were in back when they were still new.
Anyway, I am digging your paint. Can't wait to see it all put together with some good outdoor shots! Com'on, hurry up!
