How will my K5/truck look with xx" tires on xx" of lift?

Since everyone else is showing theirs, I'll show mine. Yes, I know it'll rub, I'll just do some more choppy-chop(the fawking Sawzall doest work worth a shit for this, die grinder with a 4.5" cutting wheel works best, slow but sure)
42x15x16.5 bias ply Super Swampers. On 10x16.5 Aluminum Slotted Dish Mags.
52 inch rear springs both front and rear, with 4 inch shackles, and DIY4X shackle flip in the rear.
And yes, I made sure to smear the potato on the lense before I took the pics:surepal::surepal::surepal::surepal:

Lol, your truck is pretty much the single cab version of mine:thumb:

Updated specs for the thread.
40x13.5x17 Yokohama X-mt's on 17x9x4.5"bs Battleborn gatekeeper headlocks.
Home brew front springs made from 2 different lift packs, and rear blocks. About 5" of lift and a whole lotta :grind::hack::weld:

Here's mine, 33x12.5 KO2'S, 15x8 wheels with 4.5 backspace, 2" TC soft rides all four corners. I cut the centers out of the stock overload leafs for leveling blocks and added to the rear spring packs, about 3/4". Also added 1.5" spacers to the rear to even out the width.

Looks Badass!!!
4.5" backspace with 15" rims do the dana 44 have smaller tie rod ends? my 89' has 1/4" space between rim and tie rod with 3.5" back space

They clear but it is close, probably less than a 1/4". The caliper brackets are pretty damn close to the rim too. I'll get a picture tonight.

No need but thank you, I'm just suprised the difference each square body has with clearan

@scoots90245 a lot has to do with tie rod under or over on the knuckle . yours is under . if older and on top then it gets a lot tighter . and as long as it clears its fine the rim only spins not move in/out closer / farther away .
Mine is top mounted and probably 1/4" so good to!

With new 33x10.50 15. Like the way the front sits, needs a zero rate in the rear...j
Just enough to look better, still low enough to load...

Love this truck!!

Just perusing this thread to see how my burb will look with a 4" lift. Saw my old K5 and got angry all over again.
Coming up on the first anniversary of that old hag running the red light on me.

Hope she still has aches & pains from it.

It's still alive, sold it to a guy with a body shop.
That's a good thing!
