How will my K5/truck look with xx" tires on xx" of lift?

So how many leaves were in the 4" Rough Country pack to start with? Most lift spring packs I've seen only have 3 leaves originally.

I just so happen to have a full set of 4" Rough Contry leaves in my driveway set to go on my Suburban in two weeks and the fronts have 5 leaves.

I wonder if that's why most Rough Country springs are so stiff. Maybe removing two leaves on them is the way to go.

To me, the best riding spring packs will have at least five thin leaves vs. two or three thick ones.

Thinner, I believe, is better all around.

The Skyjacker stuff I run, has multiple thin leaves too:D

I've never complained about the ride comfort.

I have however taken some of the arch out of them when the sub has most of its weight on 1 corner.:doah:

heres my dually, flat front springs and a zero rate and a 36s. whatever lift that comes to, not sure.

Bringing this one back cause it's just dead sexay! What width are those tires?

Wheels

You can even use 15" wheels on a front Dana 60, you just have to grind a little off the brake calipers to make them small enough for the wheels to fit over. There's an article about how to do it in the "Technical Articles" section on the CK5 homepage.
1/2 ton wheels are 6 lug...... 15 / 8 lug will clear, buy plenty of grinding wheels, u will need them :) been there, grinded that!

I meant to specify 8 lug 15" wheels. I recommend DeWalt brand grinding wheels. They seem to last longer than most other brands I've used.

Nice looking '73. Can't be a Michigan original being that clean.
