Howdiymobile....

Ahh yeah that makes sense seeing the picture.

Yeah I have seen where guys either shorten the hood, or add a section of fender to bring it back out to stock length.

Yeah I searched a little more and saw a few that did

On your winch mount up front, do you ever wish that you had a better approach angle? I'm thinking redesigning my winch mount and making it behind the beginning of the frame rails

New phone

Got everything painted today, didn't take a pic of the front, too dark

Yeah I bang it here and there on stuff, but I hit my leaf mounts more than anything. I will most likely move it back when I taper the front.

Bought two 47's today, need to get one vulcanized, it is cut in the tread

I'm not sure exactly what I want to do, it's kind of a turning point, either make my truck streetable or go all out

I only have two 47's anyways and they are hard to get right now

Been at school a few hours away for a few weeks now, going home this weekend

Didn't post these, hood cut down and primed

Threw on an old dodge grill to see what it looked like. I'll be using the stock grill, I do want round head lights though

Started the front bumper also, the winch is going to go down low

I think I'm going to make this truck a nice streetable truck and eventually make something more extreme down the line. I'm still going to get kings for the front and link it down the road, maybe radius arms like ORD's willard. I want to do the radius arm on my dodge first though.

I gotta say, the Dodge grill looks pretty cool, cut down with the emblem mounted I think it would look :pimp:

Good work :D

Kind of, technically a senior, but I have around 65 more hours to go, which can end up being 2 to 2.5 years more depending on what I do during the summers.

I have 90 credit hours now

I might try to transfer back to a college I can commute to after this year, not sure yet

I'm about 2.5 hours away now and the last college I was at was 45 min to 1 hour depending on what truck I took, the cummins cruises at about 70 mph so it takes a little longer

Yeah I kind of thought so too, I am going to cut it down and see how it looks, if it looks good I'll probably run it to throw people off, it looks like a 72 era chevy grill

I'm going to do the bumper ORd style with the corner body protection and tie it into the engine cage so it can take some abuse

I need to borrow my cousin 1.5" tube bender though, I may buy a stinger already bent from somewhere or try to splice to bends together

Hopefully the 1.5" upper part looks beefy enough

What an awesome rig man, I wish I had the welding and fabricating skills to do something like this to my burb. The only think I have to complain about is the back end getting cut off, but that's just because I'm such a fan of the Suburban look. I've just begun my build so I may steal some of your work haha.:waytogo:

Thanks

Heres the bumper Idea, hopefully I'll be able to get it done the weekend I go home so my dad can paint my truck while I'm gone

Red will be the 1.9" pipe and blue is the 1.5" DOM

Not sure about the stinger though, need to order one maybe

Maybe a stinger like this will work

Not sure how much room I have to work with though since it's narrowed, but I would be able to this on my cousins tube bender

Fuarking shocks are too long, I can get about 5" up travel if I mount them on the backside of the axle. Might do that or just sell them
