All the grease made me think Rockwell...amazed I retained that much.
 
nope ill just go ahead and say it...we dont know the tonage but its in the 15 to 20 ton range...its a chevy build over on carolinak5...they are planatery axles and huge :eek1:
 
Oy, any idea on the gearing and just how big are we talking here? Super giant swampers?
 
I love the fact that his truck has larger tires and still manages to sit lower than the Econoline van I've been posting about...
 
Bet he has decent steering too...and driveshafts...

the driveshafts
one is only like 1410 joints the other has a 1480 in one end and think the other end is a 1510 or 1550 didn't measure it so not sure . . . the intermediate shaft i'm running has 1500 u joints with bolt on side plates

oh and by measureing out the axle shaft joint it comes out to a 1710

oh and jay i don't know if i would consider it a strictly mud truck. . am planning on running tellico with you guys lol .. but mainly mud truck :haha:

na got most all of it at a junk yard . . . good to know people sometimes
i have to :bow: to the people that been helping me on the truck

but i do have a problem right now . . axle rotate the wrong way . . need some sort of reverse drive t-case . . got the standard 2.5 ton rockwell case in it now . . got it moving the other day and dropped in drive truck jumped backwards trying to run over a bunch of stuff :haha:
 
Wow. Interesting problem...

Well, I have no clue but if anything military might have a reverse drive t-case the guys over on www.SteelSoldiers.com might know.
