Hybrid 14-bolt / Rockwell front axle????!?

I was read on 'another site' and came across a reference to a hybrid 14-bolt/rockell axle. I think it was using a 14-bolt center and rockwell knuckles and shafts and 14-bolt spindles and hubs. Does any one have any info or links to info on these? I have zero need for one of these but it sounds like a very interesting idea.
