I cut out the balljoints!

Cut out rusted balljoint nut or change housings>

gah i have to do this soon on my new d44...don't think i'm as rusty as you though, but close!


you eventually have to buy a 4-paw tool "spanner socket" for the D44 front to corecctly tighten your ball joines back up. And that spanner is an expencive little bugger!
 
Man thats BS!!! They had to special order it for me and it took like a week and I still had to pay $30...

just to rub some salt in this wound. I got one from snap-on for $18. had it on the truck when I asked for it.
 
the snap on one broke on me, so i bought the OTC one for 25 bux. It looks beefier anyways.

p.s. dont let people borrow that socket that have no idea how it works. They tried to remove the adjuster sleeve with the knuckle still on.

I have the OTC one and its pretty nice!
