I found a Survivor! New truck! **PICTURES ADDED**

that is a beautiful truck! don't do anything to it, just clean and maintain it!

Cant really tell but looks like its missing the air dam/deflector thingie (under the bumper)? Very sharp and a nice one to add to the stable for sure!

Very cool! A buddy of mine had a full red 87 w/ the same interior. He put over 300k on that truck before the motor got really tired.

I really like the Rally wheels! That's what I'll be looking for first.

I was talking between the OEM white spokes and aftermarket white spokes. Between a set of rally wheels, M1009 CUCV wheels (painted white with dog dish hub caps) or GM white spokes, you really can't go wrong.

Yeah I did notice that the other day. We're they standard on all the later trucks? I know my 89 K5 had one.

I think so. My 88 Silverado K5 came with one but had no tow hooks or openings for hooks. I have since cut the openings to factory specs and added the hooks. Might beable to look up under at the mounting hardware/location to see if there were signs of one once there. Looks more complete and orig with one installed.

what do the factory rally wheels look like?

The wheels that were on the majority of these rigs.

are they "slotted"? I can't tell from the brochure.

are they 5 lug or six lug on this pickup?

Great find. That is one thing nice about the West Coast, they can survive. My '81 K30 3+3 was like that. All original, everything worked, under 100K. Nice find you got there.

Not to hijack the thread, but what ever happened to that rig?

One of my favorites on here!

I saw two very nice 6 lugs with slots at the parts yard two weeks ago....don't know if he had more than two as I wasn't looking for that type.

They are so super common, shipping them would be silly. Center caps and beauty rings on the other hand, are probably shippable.
