I found a Survivor! New truck! **PICTURES ADDED**

Finally got a chance to get some soap, water, and wax on this thing. Just did a two step with some Mothers cleaner wax then some carnuba and a buffer. You can see where I just did the passenger side of the hood it really made a difference.

That looks good.

Are you going to paint the center stripe on the grille?

Went out to the beach the other day after I cleaned and waxed it.

Few scenic Western WA pics.

Now for the next task. Getting it inside for my upcoming deployment.. The K5 is already inside. It's going to be tight in a "two car" garage!

Did those year models come with the white stripes without any trim around the white.

It's a sharp looking truck...would be proud to drive that. :waytogo:

The pickup has a little bit better body than the k5! :haha:

Awesome! :thumb:

Haha yeah and it's going to stay that way!

I'm not sure if those are factory, but they've been on there awhile. I'd like to remove them, but I'm sure the paint wouldn't match well if I took it off.

I assume you're talking the pin stripe stickers.

Looks much better with the wax. Didn't look bad before but it really brought out the color. Be safe on deployment. Have to Push the k5 all the way to the wall If it's not Already. Good luck Getting it In there. Gona be a tight one.

Deployment is just 5 months this time. I just returned from a 6 month in late Jan. I'm basically doing back to back, but they let me take a month off in between. Be back in August ish.

Had to move the Blazer over as far as I could but it fit.

Like a glove! :eek1:
