Nice Truck Ive got a 79 also Its getting the sliding windows also Mine has less rust then yours I picked it up for 1200.00, to bad you live so far away ive got a set of seats that are red and white that would look great in your truck .

Thanks 1200 that's awesome I tried talking the guy down he was firm on that.I love it,I wanted a 70's k5 so bad it's so hard to find them here,there all rusted out from the damn salt.Im so happy to own another k5 and be back on this forum, everyone is so helpful

I would also stay away from excessive body lift, you have to do a bunch of extras if you get over an inch, like possibly, but not limited to:
shroud, bumpers, steering shaft, shift linkage, exhaust.....

Maybe don't abandon the body lift idea, just tone it down a bit. I installed one of these with new body mounts on my 1988 V10 Suburban, and would recommend them to anyone. Gives a little tire clearance, a little lift, makes it easier to work on things underneath, and it doesn't look goofy like the 2" and 3" body lifts do.

Up here in Canada we use our worn out hockey pucks for the 1 inch lift
