This the same truggy we traveled to Phoenix for?

But then I would have to pick it up when I rip it off in Carnage Canyon.

Small price to pay to have something that still looks like a chevy

Just ask @blazinzuk how he though his tubed out rig looked before he skinned it. My brother who tubed out his Jimmy on rockwells felt the same way. Now he is going through the process of skinning it front to back because he thought it was looking too fugly.

And as long as you narrow it (even just fenders, not even narrow the cab) then you can make it through carnage without damage

I am thinking more of a rock bouncer with a cab. If it rolls over, who cares. I have rolled enough cars in the past, I want one I can roll back over and keep going.

I like the bagged idea, kind of a have your cake and eat it to scenario, you get the nice ride regardless and load leveling plus's. Keeps the 4x for the bad weather.. kind of like a big typhoon.. Dig the rock buggy idea too. sheetmetal looks great until its shredded, which is only a matter of time.

Now that is just stupid. I am talking 3"s lower.

This site is called CK5, not Lifted CK5.

Had a 2wd 73 in high school. Lowered. BBC and tubbed. Loved that thing.
I was just sticking it to ya. :) I've toyed with the idea of building a lowered 1st gen myself. Not slammed, but low and able to tow... everything my current one is not.

It's true. I'm not sure if I have ever seen tube work then just a cab then tubework I like.

I might could have changed my design to be more pleasing to my eye but I like minimal work for maximum effect.

Which is weird cause I often suggest massive work for tiny changes cause something isn't quite right. Or doesn't look just right.

It's possible I just don't know what I'm doing:dunno::D

Flipp'n Indian giver.

The guy who owns the axles called, wants me to put them under his Cherokee. I have been storing them for 6 months. Rent is now being charged and my hourly rate went up also.

Parked the blazer in front of the garage today. Walked right past it to get into Eileen's car. Backed into the front of the blazer. Now I have a bumper and 1/4 panel to fix on her car.

An F150 I am doing the coil packs on. Cherokee cut apart. TJ apart for wheel base stretch. 2 more body repairs lined up. A cafe, info center and dinner to build for church. A boat to get from Arizona and finish. 400 feet of fence to install at home. Etc......

The truck is going to get a flat bed and the blazer will be sold soon.

I am too tired to add 2 more projects.

Retirement sucks the way I am doing it. I can not wait for wheeling season. 2 more weeks.

Im looking forward to both of these, to bad neither one is going to happen for awhile.

Ill probably wheel at blazer bash again this year and blow the truck up another 4 times between bashes.
