This the same truggy we traveled to Phoenix for?
But then I would have to pick it up when I rip it off in Carnage Canyon.
SorrySadly no. I get depressed every time someone brings that up.
Small price to pay to have something that still looks like a chevy
Just ask @blazinzuk how he though his tubed out rig looked before he skinned it. My brother who tubed out his Jimmy on rockwells felt the same way. Now he is going through the process of skinning it front to back because he thought it was looking too fugly.
And as long as you narrow it (even just fenders, not even narrow the cab) then you can make it through carnage without damage
I was just sticking it to ya.Now that is just stupid. I am talking 3"s lower.
This site is called CK5, not Lifted CK5.
Had a 2wd 73 in high school. Lowered. BBC and tubbed. Loved that thing.
I've toyed with the idea of building a lowered 1st gen myself. Not slammed, but low and able to tow... everything my current one is not.

Quoted for future referenceIt's true. I'm not sure if I have ever seen tube work then just a cab then tubework I like.
I might could have changed my design to be more pleasing to my eye but I like minimal work for maximum effect.
Which is weird cause I often suggest massive work for tiny changes cause something isn't quite right. Or doesn't look just right.
It's possible I just don't know what I'm doing![]()
Retirement sucks the way I am doing it. I can not wait for wheeling season. 2 more weeks.
