that is going to be sick, man! :eek1:

I love the camo paint job  i am trying to decide between that and leaving it white with a black strip of bedliner at the bottom. cant make up my mind...

EDIT: whats with the welded up cut? is that a blazer top on there?

Yeah dog! That is a Blazer top. Check out my Build thread here AND @ Texas4x4.org.

The camo was a fleeding thought....It is going to be Blue/Champagne.

Thanks for the compliments.

I am going to lift it as little as possible.

Cool, are you going to camo the roof also?

Originally, that was all I painted. All the paint had peeled off and I was getting a little rust on top. Sanded it down, rattle canned the top, then decided I'd do the rest of the truck. Wife liked the looks of Urban camo vs traditional, so thats what it got. Eventually, I'll sand, primer and repaint only with a big jolly rogers on top.

clean burb soild!!!

Wish I could say the same on this '83 3/4 ton (350cid/th400/208np/4.10 gears), yet only paid $1000.00 for it and it runs/drives.

most of the major rust

inside stripped clean, not too much rust

started bobbing, basically cuttin' the rust off

another pic

pic when I got it, only looks like no rust

I am waiting on a friend of mine locally to TIG up all of my body work.

I then have to cut off the front rear spring hanger to replace it with a longer one.

Then, a good friend of mine over @ texas4x4.org, who owns a body shop, is going to help me move the top of the rear fenders up about 4-6" and for and aft about 2-4", and make it look stock.

I then have to gusset and plate EVERYTHING.

Then, I have to finish the sheet metal for the interior and the hole in the roof where I had to lower the roofline of the Suburban to meet the Blazer. (the Suburban has a bump up /with ribbing to stengthen the long roof. It becomes unncessesary when you use the WHOLE Blazer roof to replace the 2nd passenger area of the Suburban)

Then I have to see if the 1985 Topkick front clip will fit and do any modifications so the tilt front end will mate up the core support and body mounts. I will probably have to use the core support from the top kick. I will also have to raise the wheel wells of the rear of the fiberglass fenders on the front. This should be fairly easy.

Then, POR-15 EVERYTHING.

Then, build the rocks, doubler, motor and buy the MPFI for the BB, buy the lift.

Oh and did I say my wife was pregnant, and she want me to finish it in the next two years so we can buy another house. It would be easier to move under it's own power.

Care to help?:doah: :D
