getting this thread back on track.....You left your CCBoJ (Concealed Carry Bottle of Jack) wedged in Scotts truck bumper. We found it the next morning..it was 3/4 full

So with my wife and kids down I honestly did back off a bit. Thursday night they weren't there and things did get a little loud and out of hand though.![]()
Several years back I had a similar thought. I was worried that I might not be "just having fun" and might actually have a problem. I figured the only way to find out was to quit drinking. If I couldn't, then I would know I had an issue that might need help. The plan was to quit drinking for 1 year. Luckily I did it with little issue and felt comfortable enough to start drinking again, but it never did get back to the excesses of when I was younger.A month or two with no booze just to kind of reset myself and make sure that I'm not allowing my drinking pleasure to become more than just that.
Me too!!!!I'm still surprised we didn't get any complaints from the campers next to me...
Me too!!!!
I blame baba really. It was the bottle of Jack he brought that caused me to get loud.
You did good, when we left it only was half way gone. That was even with a few of us taking drinks.Me too!!!!

The next time I feel like running an obstacle, I will get out of my truck an ask someone's permission to do so. You are not my babysitter and next time just leave me and all the other "noobs", this thread sounds like a bunch of elitists complaining about everyone else. I shouldn't have even opened it.I definitely wanted to do Rusty Nail, but was ok with running crack and back with Fred.
After Scott broke his rear diff, the two of us cut from the group. We headed out so as not to hold up the rest. We got to the top of the hill past Butt Scratcher when we got news of the broken trans housing.
We waited for the rest of the group. One everyone was through Butt Scratcher, Fred and I switched rolls. He stayed with the broken truck and David in the Sub the help lead them while I led everyone to the trailhead with Scott behind me. From that point out, Scott drove out in front wheel drive unassisted.
Now the nextpart was my fault. I assumed everyone understood that with 2 trucks broken all bypasses were mandatory. Well I guess not. The big Blazer 4 trucks behind me broke the rear diff on one of the last obsticals. Fortunately he was still able to drive.
Now at this point I walked back to every truck and made it clear.... All bypasses only......I even hinted to some that I would run over the next truck that took an optional line. lol
All said and done, the broken rigs added about 4-5 extra hours to the day.
I don't think that is the purpose of this thread. Sorry you took it that way, by any chance did you read the entire thread? I'm far from a elitists... Heck I won't even put my truck through what it's capable of, mall crawler ftw.The next time I feel like running an obstacle, I will get out of my truck an ask someone's permission to do so. I haven't met a bad dude yet from ck5 everyone here is awesome
Add http://factor55.com/ to your list of sponsors, really neat stuff.
