I would rather have portals because the reduction gearboxes on the end divert a lot of the stress downstream and can use smaller diffs and axleshafts, whereas this axle your running a 9" center, through like eight u-joints that will see the full stress of whatever power is coming from the driveshaft.
I wonder if there is any real world testing on these things. The only pictures Iv seen of these things are by themselves on the grass. Put one in a vehicle with gobs of power and weight, take it to the Hammers and then advertise it.
