Well I'm back from the Croisiere Blanche! Wheelin' in the French Alps with a few hundred other crazy people. It was an experience I'll never forget!
2000 miles of road trip and high altitude, snow wheelin. We did the first 2 days of 4 but to be honest, my rig was tooo wide for these mountain tracks. When your passenger door is up against the mountain and your driver side wheels are a foot from the edge of the track where there is a several hundred foot drop, you've gotta question your safety! most of the other trucks were Land Rovers etc which being a foot narrower than me, gave them a bit of a safety margin.
At one point, crawling along a track like this, a mile or so up a mountain, in deep snow, I hit a hidden rock with the up-side front wheel which knocked me sideways enough to put my offside front tire right on the edge. At this point I had to make a decision. another 2 days like this or consider the safety of my wife and truck. Well, safety won.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not bitching, I had a fantastic trip. We did a couple of days on our own after that up in the mountains on safer tracks and roads.
The truck was awesome. It went up and down rocky, snow covered tracks so steep you'd have trouble on foot, all without barely spinning a wheel. The OBA was great as was the Staun airdown valves(and beadlockers!!) The EBL ecu system worked out great too.
We've only just got back so I've not had time to sort out many pictures, they're still all on the camera but here's a few anyway. I'll post some more when I can.
We want to do it again for sure but in something smaller.......Chevy powered Land Rover comes to mind!!

), that I cut 2 squares out of and made up some brackets (that you see sticking out) which are bolted by 3 7/16" bolts each to the chassis. A shackle goes on the end obviously!
