Being a noob, does the steering setup look wrong right off the bat for a lifted k5? Is the pitman arm correct? The steering arm (not sure what that's called) that connects to the hub is wrong? The drag link is short or long?
Since my steering wheel is not straight I think I'm supposed to:
First: Have someone move steering wheel back and forth while I look for loose steering box and other slop in linkages.
Assuming no slop (a giant leap)
Then count the rotations of the steering wheel from right to left.
Then what do I adjust?
Or am I way off?
I'm guessing that swapping the rag joint shaft is not a first step, I should clean up the other slop first, correct?
