That was a nice one but I had to let it go last year to buy the excavator. The guy that bought it is in the middle of an LS swap and upgrades.

Nothing new, I've had the M1028 on the lift for the last year and haven't had a chance to work on this in between all the other projects. I'm getting close to wrapping up the M1028 and getting this back into the shop though.
I've only had this one since March 2021, but very few vehicles will have a hard time driving faster than this one. It will probably top out around 50 mph.
The International fuel truck we had at the airport I worked at 20 years ago was super low geared and topped out about 30.

Spent this evening looking at trucks with friends... decent running 1977 IHC Loadstar with a working bed hoist. He wants the cab/ front sheetmetal and new tires forthe 4x4 Loadstar. I want the bed hoist for the Deuce and PTO system for the Cargostar. I'm sure there will be other good parts we will use as well. I drove it to a friend's property after purchase as well.
Or he gets the tires and I get the rest of the truck... and Cargostar becomes a car hauler project. Hmm.
That would make a sweet car hauler.
Replaced one exhaust manifold and installed a new set of spark plugs then it made the 3 hour drive home over Snoqualmie pass without issue.
Do you know who made the pivot assembly or is it made in house at OSW?
They are made in house, at least welded in house. Very stout unit.
All the ones I'm finding on line do not have removable pins.
I'm thinking removable would be helpful for future repairs/maintenance.
I wouldn't want a pivot without removable pins. I can dig up the invoice with the part numbers next week.

The parts truck is home. It did fit the 22 foot tilt deck, but without any extra space. I rolled across the scale at 10K on the tow rig and 11.7K on the trailer axles. I did load the truck heavy on tongue weight to reduce how much the rear of the deck deflected.
I found a deal on a plow for my friend's 4x4 Loadstar so I ran to grab it while he was out of town. 12 foot wide x 4 foot tall blade plus the pivot assembly came in at 2640 lb.
I dropped the Loadstar off for new exhaust today.
Not true duals with an X-pipe? What is this? Boringtrucks.com?
