Hello All,

My name is Quinn I'm 19 and my Father and I decided to start our 1973 K10 Stepside project. Current state it is bare frame getting ready to be sent out to be sand blasted and por-15. Upside of the project we have just bought two full size axles out of a military truck. 4.56 and lockers.:D Downside is everything else about the truck we just keep running into problems. Like we thought the 427 motor was the most sound part on the truck but when we pulled it, it had a huge weld across the side:( Our frame was tweeked so the frame shop decided to re-welded not bolt it like factory:( Im new to chevy facts, I spend most of my time on the powerstroke.org forum but I am egar to learn more about these simple trucks. I will start a thread about the project and will have plenty of k10 suspension parts if anyone is interested.

Hows it going, im Dylan. I'm from Sacramento, CA. Im a Service driver and a Tow Truck driver for a AAA contractor. I have an 83 K5 6.2. I brought it home from Idaho a few months ago, and been fixing all the Redneck upgrade/shortcuts on it. I'm hoping to increase my knowledge here. This is my first Diesel, and have soaked in as much knowledge as possible from the Shop Mechanic, but I would love to have some outside source for some help.
