You should start a new thread here in the garage. A lot more eyes will see it, you'll get more response.Hey all,
Brand new to the site and thought I’d share what finally brought me here. First ride was a a ‘76 K20 w/a 400 small block. Never left Chevy since. Currently have a ‘65 Chevelle, an ‘04 Silverado HD2500 and the wife drives an ‘18 Suburban.
So...picked up this 74 Jimmy with major rust but clean title and the all important (for California residents) pre-smog. Seller couldn’t get it to start and I wound up towing it away for $300. Had a brand new “soft topper”, new tires, receipts for the brakes being re-done, new radiator and new shocks all the way around. It’s got a factory tach and a/c.Couldn’t lose right?!? Well that’s my thought. Threw a starter in and a fresh battery. Replaced the fusible links near the starter after finding them failed. But can’t get it to fire, crank or show any signs of life. Getting an ignition switch tomorrow but I’m showing 12 volts everywhere else I can think of....fusible links on the firewall are good. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hello fellow enthusiasts!Welcome to CK5, stop in and say hello, this is a great place to make your first post and tell us a little about yourself/truck.![]()
You should have access to the garage and body shop where you can create a thread/ask questions. And lots of people, pert near everyone here is interested in your resto of a '75.Hello fellow enthusiasts!
First post here.
I am a recreational restoration wrench with a few completed projects.
I need some help from you guys.
I currently have a 1975 full convertible restoration underway and need some help with suggestions on rear side panel replacement options. Seems that the square body replacement metal has all but dried up. I can go into detail here or follow suggestions to another thread but my limited posting ability here probably won’t permit it.
Anyhow just ask “what’s up” and I shall continue here if interested.

x2 on this infoWelcome! This thread is basically the greetings thread so I would ask your lift question in the garage or first gen forum for more eyeballs on your post.
With that being said OffRoad Design has a lot of great options for that amount of lift.
Thanks i will look into that. I posted question in garage.Welcome! This thread is basically the greetings thread so I would ask your lift question in the garage or first gen forum for more eyeballs on your post.
