Hey Jim, welcome to the site!Hey everyone! My name is Jim and I'm new to the forum. I recently picked up a 77 Blazer project that is 90% complete. Previous owner came across his dream car and had to make a choice and needed this gone. I was told it was originally a California truck (always skeptical of comments like that) but judging by the condition I actually believe it. Quick specs are Freshly built 454, TH350/203 combo, 6" lift w/ Bilstien 5100's, Wilwood front brakes & brand new 35" tires & wheels. Need to finish the interior (came with most of the parts needed) and throw some paint on it.Also came with all of the original trim and front bumper in great condition. A few pics below

nice rides and welcome .
Thanks! 35's are a nice all around tire size.Nice ride! Looks nice Just put some new 35's on mine..
Nice. Which 6 speed? That would be my 70 Camaro that I picked up as a project a few years ago. completely gutted the car and built it up from scratch. it currently has a healthy 400 small block mated to a 6 speed manual trans .Full Hotchkis suspension all around. handles like its on rails. Very fun car to drive but it has gotten to the point that I rarely drive it unless its a perfect day out. That's one of the main reasons I picked up the blazer.
Thanks! The lift is a beast for sure. Aresco is a local company that services lifts near me and that is where I found the lift (used). I've been meaning to order a new set of Mohawk stickers for it but just haven't gotten around to it.
Thanks! 35's are a nice all around tire size.
Tremec T56. Was originally looking for a Magnum but couldn't find one for a decent price at the time. So far it has held up well though.Nice. Which 6 speed?
I had the same problem. They’re hard to find used, and certainly aren’t cheap. I ended up converting a swap meet TR6060 to a Magnum.Tremec T56. Was originally looking for a Magnum but couldn't find one for a decent price at the time. So far it has held up well though.
Didnt really know how or where to post this, new to site. I have had several K5 blazers and an old 1978 Jimmy, but my newest find is a 2 wheel drive Blazer badged K5 Cheyenne Edition, been in a barn for the last 21 years. In the process of going all thru it to make it a daily driver. Everyone I talk to says there is no such thing 2wd K5, but its all original one owner. with original Chevrolet window sticker and documents in glove box.
