Introductions & Greetings

Another new guy...

Just thought I'd introduce myself and what I've got. Name is Bill, live in Phoenix, and I just bought my first Blazer, a stock 89, in January. Couple weeks later lifted it 5" and put in on 35's. Just last week I bought another, 87, that will be built for the wife.

Here's my 89 3 weeks after I bought it, right after the lift and wheels...

First time I took it out, Easter weekend...

No pics of the 87 yet but here's my brother in-laws 72 (20+ Inches of lift, 44's and a built and blown 502) that got me into 4x4's and lifted trucks...

Yo Dudes. I am already supporting member Tominator II. I want to switch usernames so when that expires I will reup as Tom N. I sent an Email requesting the switch but never heard back. No big deal either way. I am not a PW padder.

I'm new here

Hi guys, I've posted to other boards but I'm new here This looks like a more Blazer centered board which suits me just fine.
I have and 86 blazer that I have heavily modded, well I'll let the pictures talk:

I started out last year looking like this:

Then I started this year looking like this:

http://farm1.static.flickr.com/174/480687375_4a0fdb9a09.jpg?v=0

I've modded just about everything once, some parts more than once. more to go as well

Next I want staun beadlocks and lockers. and then more power from the 454

edit:The pics dont work?

Yeah ive been looking for a nice lagit k5 for so long untill i found this one and i really am loveing it.

Howdy....my name is Willie....people call me wheels....because for a short, stubby, 45 year old I can run pretty fast...just ask my 7 year old grandson :D I bought a 1987 K5 Blazer that was suppose to be a daily driver (so I can sell 2 of my Trans Ams) but it turned out to be a lemon...I decided to keep it, instead of spending more money and too much time trying to sue for a refund, because I love to work on things....It will be my 4x4 and am damn proud of it...now if I can just get it working...I posted the problem in the garage section...I'll send pics soon. This is a great site for 4x4's

Howdy!

Hey all! I've been a member here for a few months but just became a contributing member. I have a 90 K5 that I bought almost 2 years ago from a 1 owner. First was add a leaves with 33's. Then I added a 3" body lift and a winch bumper and rear step bumper from a 90 Z71. I have now added a 12" suspension lift. Picked up my D60/14 Bolt with crossover steering and hrdro assist last weekend from MuddyBuddy and about to throw that in. This site is great with a lot of great tech and minimal drama. Hope to make some good friends and make some of the rides that are close to me.

Here she is when I bought her:

Here she is with just the add a leaves:

With the 3 inch body lift and AAL's:

And now how she sits with the 12 inch suspension on and 42's still sitting on the 1/2 tons. I'm going to put my 1 tons under it next week. I'm waiting on my shackle flip and tires and wheels to come in (15x14 chrome Barts with 44" TSL's)
then I'll be able to button everything up.

Welcome, that's a nice ride you have there. How do you keep the body panels straight ? :D
Because it's a street queen, lol. I do have a small dent on the passenger side near the rear bumper. I was backing through a ditch and bent the stock bumper up till it hit the body. We don't have any rocks around here, just mud at the hunting club so the body will (hopefully) stay straight. I'd like to it as nice as I can for a while. :D

reintroduction

Early this year, MAC II Monster was destroyed. I posted pictures in this very thread. There was such hope and promise for him.

Which brings me to Destroid Monster MKII, a 1981 K5. He has a sucky 3" lift and some pretty good 33" tires, leaky steering box, a 350ci engine swap, and great body with a few bad rust spots, headers, a 3 speed TH350 which I don't like, and an good exhaust system. Any parts I need can conviently be taken off of MAC.

hello

I am a new member and own an 84 k5. I bought the blazer about 3 months ago after wanting one since I was a teenager (guess i'm not really a ford guy?). Recently relocated back to florida after a stint in southern california. Miss socal alot and only wish I had the blazer out there. It was just nearly impossible to find a blazer out there with emissions. Adjusting to fl ok and love the fact that it is a "free" state where I can own the truck I want and posess the guns I NEED!! More of a lurker and good searcher than talker.:wink1:

Chris

This is a great site. Ive been lurking for a while since a bought a 1990 Blazer 4x4 and figured i would join to help me get this truck in the air and dirty.

Hey all,

Bought my first K5 the other day to start my second build. It's an '81. I might need some help, so I've come to the right place.

My first rig was a '78 3/4 ton pickup that was going to be a truggy, but it found a water grave in a place called purgatory. It's all I remember from the painful frothing death it incurred. Don't Ask!

Enough about me. Anybody near Champaign, IL? I'm looking for some parts as well. Seats and a rear window to start...I'm working on a motor.

Peace, Ryan.

Hey there, welcome. Another Illinois member! check out the regional forum. The midwest guys are planning a trip to badlands over labor day weekend. Maybe you can visit your '78s grave :o .
