Introductions & Greetings

I guess I'm kinda new here- been looking at the boards for a while, recently decided to go ahead and buy the membership. My name's Hollis, I'm going to school in Colorado Springs, and I own an 88 K5. It needs a lot of work, but it gets me around for now. I've got a lot of plans for it (lift, tires, wheels, planning on swapping the old 700r4 to a sm465 whenever the 700r4 goes out, redoing the interior, paint... the list could go on for a while). Like most people though, I don't have the money or time to do all of these right now- but in a few years, she'll be real nice.

Now, how many of the under 25 crowd can name that one? Bonus points if you can name the engine.

Hello, I'm Jerry, Currently in Pueblo,Co. I have a 85 1/2 ton suburban that's in the process of getting more mods to it. The basics is a 468 mated to a 700 r4 with a 205 T-case. Nothing is installed yet im still waiting to get a painless wiring harness so i can swap that in and get the electrical fixed. It has stock axels under it now but i have a 14sf ill be rebuilding to a locked 4.56 14bolt Still looking for a d44 8 lug front axel or the infamous D60 front. Be pretty much rebuilding this from the frame up minus taking it off the frame. This was my first chevy 4x4 and fell in love with it from the start

Hello everyone my name is Bert Vega and I live in murrieta California. I am brand new to wheeling and just picked up my first rig 2 weeks ago. Its a 1974 chevy blazer. I am getting the truck ready to do some rock crawling and just wanted to introduce myself to everyone. If you live in the Socal area drop me a line. Its just me and a buddy that got into this and we dont know much on how to do it and were to go. If we could team up with anyone with more experiance that would be great.

Close- it's an AMC Spirit. But, they did make a 4 wheel drive variant called the Eagle that looks just about the same, so... And yep, the engine is a 258 I-6.
