New guy, Shaw AFB, Sumter

I am stationed in Sumter, and am in the midst of sealing the deal on an '84 C10 I plan to swap in an old (efi)6.0 (iron head) and mate it to the th350. Don't know how quite to do it yet, so I am joining to learn from the other soldiers who paved the way. :waytogo:

That's my point. Too low is too much in my opinion. I'm not into frame draggers. Slightly lower than where it's at now would be perfect. But that's my opinion.

Been lurking for years but finally registered. About to pull the trigger on a new build so I thought it best to get access to knowledgable minds who've been there, done that. Both 14 bolts are on stands in the garage after a helluva day pulling them at Pick and Pull. Going with king pins and hydro-steer setup in the front to go 14's all the way around. It would be great to hear if anybody on here has experience with this.

After 4 years as a paid supportive member on 67-72chevytrucks.com, and multiple clean, and appropriate thread write-Ups I was banned for not bowing to their moderator heavy fisted approaches.

My favorite build is of my 1987 GMC Crew Cab short bed cummins. This build has been on the 67 site for the past two years with over 49,XXX views. I had a blast sharing info with fellow members, and sharing our personal GM stories which is ultimately what we are here for...

After a call from KGBlazerfive I'm here and looking forward to growing a new forum brother hood with you all here at CK5!

Yes! Most excelent! I will have you know that it was a direct result of me being banned which brought you here! :haha:

Just saying hello from SD. Just picked up a 1991 Suburban V1500 350TBI, 700R4. The body is fairly straight and the interior isn't half bad. Needs a cat back in the very near future. I have 3 small spots of rust to fix and then it's getting truck bed liner along the bottom of the body.

Lots of front 14's here in the southeast, that'll be a low hanging dude. No need for custom C's though, the Cranes and such will fit RCV's and other fancy axles.
