New to forum and Blazers!
Hello all, my name is Israel and you can call me IZ for short. I just recently purchased a 76 K5 blazer. I'm new to these trucks and look forward to working on it. Is has a 350 with an auto tranny. Unfortunately reverse went out for a drink and never came back
. The previous owner said it had bad rings. I suspected bad valve seals since it only smoked at startup. I checked compression and all cylinders were at about 120. I changed the seals and smoke went away but now cylinder 8 has 90 compression. I now can't figure out what's wrong. Hopefully I can learn from you guys and and get ideas for my project. I plan to build it to wheel it!
