Well hello there everyone. I'm new to the GM family as of last fall, and I don't see myself going back to a Ford anytime soon... I have owned my Ford Bronco for 13 years now, and I finally got my first K5 (which is what I was really looking for when I got the bronco). Either way I have spent the last four years designing and using different cab over campers on my Bronco and I have finally found the right set up. I picked up the 1973 Blazer from a gentleman near Conifer, CO last November. He had picked up the rig from a family after the owner (owned and maintained meticulously by said owner/ professional mechanic). I'm really not to familiar with the 350, but it sure has been easy to work on and runs like a champ, way more guts than the old 302. Although the three speed auto trans isn't the greatest on the highway, this thing has hauled my two place snowmobile trailer from Denver, Vail, Steamboat, Jackson, and even Montana this winter in search of camping and good snow. My next move is potentially looking at putting a cummins 12 valve or possibly a 4BT motor. I am without a doubt getting in over my head on this, so I plan on being on the forum quite a bit this year. Potential work includes a full motor trans swap, along with some serious body/ suspensions work, hell why stop there, I'm gonna be holding onto this thing for a while. Pictures to follow soon!
