Awesome! I’m pretty sure you can find whatever information you need for your K5 on here!Im Derek, Hello from Portland Oregon, I'm a pro engine builder/ tuner/ mechanic for 20+ years and I hope not only that I can get some help with an 84 K5 I have but I hope I can offer technical advice where needed as well, thanks for having this K5 Forum!

Folks, I've been absent from another forum / joined the wrong forum ... and finally deciding to jump into CK5. Happy to be here.
I've loaded some intro photos to my 1980 K5 Silverado (acquired in 2016 w/ only 65K miles).
I've included some pictures below (hopefully they come through alright). As for me, I don't have much experience working on trucks, but I hope to learn a few things along the way / stay out of trouble.
Currently looking at new tires, so you'll see me posting on that later today.
Looking forward to meeting other forum members...
John

Just go 4"Thoughts on putting 2”lift and 33x1250 vs. 4” loft and 35” ???
That's pretty much how all of them were factory.forgive me; i've never participated in a forum before...here goes. i'm a Chevy truck guy...my first one was in the 60's....a 49 short narrow bed.
How rare is a 1985 Blazer, 5.7 L factory quad front shocks, locking differentials, skid plates on transfer case and gas tank, stabilizer bars from engine to tranny and transfer case. i found that over 40,000 total were produced that year; but i have never seen one set up like this, evidently from the factory.
One man told me that factory quad front shocks meant it is a three quarter ton Blazer. However, the wheels are 6 lug.
Thank you for your time
