yup yup, right on man. i have a bad problem with making things more difficult than they are! i get all worked up and worried i'm doing somthing wrong. i 'ppreicate the help guys.
 
you torque the inner nut to 50ftlbs and then back it off a quarter turn. Slide the lock ring in and make sure the pin on the inner nut finds a hole. Then snug the outer on.
Snug the outer one?:confused: The torque spec is like 180 for the outer nut. If this starts to move you'll trash the bearings, spindle, etc....

On all my 10blts and 44's I have never had an issue with just snugging the outer bolt. Granted snug is with a 1/2" breaker bar so I'm sure its close but not nearly 180.
