Yes on the transfer case face there is the 6 bolt round and the 8 bolt that you have there. That is referred to as the fugure 8 pattern. What you have is an unusual hybrid that has the older style figure 8 case with the newer style long input gear.

Don’t know if anyone remembers T89blazer (Tim). He’s hooked me up with a bunch of stuff already, but he’s got the input shaft and slip yoke eliminator I need for this thing. Getting lucky. It’s scary.
