I do still run the Dana 300 though.Seriously, I can't imagine going back to a full size for a trail truck. Too big, wide and long for me. The Texas sized hood. All that sheet metal hanging out for the trees and rocks to destroy. I started wheeling with a K20, beat it up, and got tired of 10 point turns on the tight trails around here. My Jeep is almost all Chevy now, so I have the best of both worlds.
yunit, you might want to consider a cab & chassis rear and then narrow just the front. That four inches makes a lot of difference if you 'wheel on tight trails.
