I was able to take it on a run! Found some problems that I'll have to address. IT likes to heat up. Not surprised though. the front end is coming back apart as the tranny cooler is moving and getting its own fan, powersteering cooler is moving and the winch is getting flipped flat and tucked between the frame rails. I also found and replaced a kinked hose.
Didnt get a chance to weigh it by itself but I did weigh the two rig, trailer, and the blazer at a total of 12,800 pounds. The tow rig weighs about 6,900 pounds but I dont know the weight of the trailer. I plan on weighing both this week without the blazer to see where I'm at.
As to how it works, it was great! There wasnt a sand hill that I could not climb and its a goat on the rocks. I'm talking a night and day difference. There were things that I could not even get my front tires on before that I can now easily climb. I'm very happy I did this.
But, I still have a ton to do. I ran the day without the hood to help the temps.
Oh, I also need to extend the vent on the tranny, seems it pucks out when its on its side.
