How long did you wait to tap it off for the coat of red?

About two hours after I got done taping.. I started taping about 45 mins after spraying the white.. THere are some lil spots in the white where the red appeared, I guess I did not press hard enough on the tape to seal it but Like i have said I am no professional...:haha::haha:

Yeah that is the stuff... Works great!!! I found the Paint at this link: http://www.tcpglobal.com/restoratio...C=standard&OVADID=407869512&OVKWID=1550000512

Urethane Basecoat... Worked pretty good for me. This is the first and last project like this I am doing.. I learned alot.. There are some imperfections in the paint but I did not have a dust proof box and the right lighting.. Looks a thousand times better then it did thats for sure and Im happy with it... :D

Cleared...

Well got done with clear and it looks pretty good for a guy who dont know what the heck he is doing..

Now to let it sit and cure then the fun job of color sanding :doah: Cant wait. But I need a few days of relaxation, my body is aching. Muscles I never even know I had HURT :o.

:bow::bow:Hey it looks great.:bow::bow: What i have always done was spray the floor with water then wipe it down. let everthing settle then wipe again while the floor is still wet. then spray. this way all the dust stay's on the wet floor. when you dont have a properly vented painting bay. and who does unless you work at body shop. Again good job. I will be making the thread abou my blazer build soon. and will be painting it yellow..:D

Nice work. Glad I subscribed to follow along. I wish I had a shop to work on my truck in. :doah:

Awesome job though.

Words of encouragement

Thank you all for the nice coments on the truck. After last week and weekend I have done nothing with the truck as I am wiped out.. I will start working a lil bit here and there on the truck. The next thing in this process is putting another coat of Rust Bullet on the floors and then Hurculiner the interior floor, then Doing the exterior floor boards the same way two coats of rust bullet and hurculiner... We shall see how that turns out...
