Yeah, I hope mine does too. What an inspiration. Seeing threads with progress like this and Ryoken's really gets me motivated to get out in the garage and sand, sand, sand. Looks great Izzy.

Ten years hell, I got lil under four till I retire. I have been in 16 was a cop for my first six years and then saw the light..

Gauges
Izzy, how hard was the gauge replacement and which type/brand did you use. I have a replacement on my things to do list. How did the E7 test go?
Well been busy studying for testing to make E-7 but all testing aside I have the day off from work and figured I would show you my new dash gauges.

Last one installed, not to bad wish I would have gone with the in dash guages, but oh well turned out nice
Had to do alot of triming with the dremel
Now for the fun part the wiring, Oh well it has to be done...

Ready for windows to get installed...
Alright gents.. Well got the vent windows back and installed the Passenger side. Went to the drivers side and the rollers were way low. I could not install the window
!, I did the best thing ever, I got rid of all my power stuff. I gutted the doors, I got cranks on order from LMC. Got rid of the power locks also. Going old fashion 
. Well then had to tackle the gas gauge problem. So I dropped the tank, and when I say I Dropped the tank I really did..
. Any way got it all fixed up. Found out the wiring was bad from the sending unit. Well ran all new wires and the gas gauge works great now. Lets see, this week I plan on taking the truck to the pros to get windshield and topper windows installed. And as soon as the door window cranks get in I will attack those. The truck is coming together with a lot of blood, sweat, and tears.. 
As soon as all the windows are installed I will post some more pics.... Stay tuned...

I havent done a whole lot recently either...should have built a garage before building a truck in New England.

Lol, Funny you say that. I got a portable two car given to me. Only problem was I had nowhere to put it since I live in a fifthwheel. One of my buddies had a backyard so we got together and built a work shop out of the frame work from the porty... You can see it in the background of the pics with the topper just installed. My truck fits just right. His dont fit so well!!But I helped pay for the cement slab and I bought the tin for it. I put in over 700 bucks...
I had my agenda..

Alright gents here is another update. Got the vent windows back and installed withe the driver and passenger side windows now with manual cranks. They are a lil tough to roll up with all new rubber but a tight seal is a good seal. So I brought it of of the garage and took her for a spin. I also got some more pics for ya.

Awesome! I love how you're using the stock grille. 
The '81-'82 grille has always been my favorite grille of the several that came out for that front clip.
