JT monster truck

bilstein huh.... sounds kinda jewy....

that truck needs a confederate flag and a redneck windsheild decal...

are you going to leave it that tall ?

Lol You mean Germany... and those are all made 100% here from parts here. Designed here so not much German.
He wants to leave it that tall, we'll see because the rear add a leaf and overload have to come out if he wants it to move at all, which lowers it some.

i gotta get my shit running.... to take him out, if he wants to run that fast threw the desert i personally wouldnt want it that tall

What model and size are those wheels? Look like one of the several dozen torque thrusts...

Been busy tonight, removed most of the tree spring stuff, got the proper shocks in. We were sent standard body shocks and we use the short body shocks in our kit.

The short body is 1.5 inches shorter and compares to a king shock, the standard length shocks are similar to fox shocks.

@secutright tig welded this set, here is a teaser. They're turning out nice! IMG_2198.JPG

Hey guys we got pretty far.
The axle is out and all ready to weld on, all the brackets at links are done being welded.
But we had to stop due to my error on axle tube diameter.
I mismeasured somehow and thought I saw 2.75 but it is 3 inch tubes on this truck. I got some idea that half tons had the smaller tube diameter with all Dana 44 axles and 3 inch with the 10 bolt. But I guess that's a year cutoff thing?? Anyway we already have a set of 3 inch brackets so those will get welded up and this should be at the minimum on its wheels next weekend.
So far we have only touched the truck for 3.5 hours.. pretty amazing how much is already done..
